Wedding Ring Found Amidst Rubble
Out of the stories of devastation from the LA Fires, are also stories of hope, such as this story of a woman who has managed to find her wedding ring in the burned remains of her home.
Gale fled with virtually nothing as the fire encroached on her home, but returned to find her wedding rings intact inside a safe she finds among the rubble.

Hiker Survives Two Weeks Lost in Kosciuszko National Park
An absolute story of survival out of New South Wales, where a 23 year old hiker was found alive and well after being missing in the Kosciuszko National Park for two weeks.
Medical student Hadi Nazari became lost on Boxing Day, but survived for two weeks on creek water and two muesli bars he found, before he managed to come across a group of hikers.
Police say Mr Nazari was found in good spirits and with no apparent injuries, you can read more here.
Study Links Coffee and Tea to Lower Cancer Risk
If you’ve ever needed to justify your coffee habit, this study might be for you!
A study published in the American Cancer Society journal Cancer combined data from 14 previous studies, suggesting regular consumption of coffee and tea may reduce the risk of developing head and neck cancers.
However, researchers caution further research is needed to better understand how coffee and tea affect cancer risk.
